Jiahui Zhou obtained his diploma in Pharmaceutical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2020 and joined Meilan Huang's group for his doctoral studies. His research revolves around modeling and simulation methods for understanding complex phenomena in enzyme catalysis.
Yalan Dong | PhD
Yalan Dong is a PhD student in Dr Huang's group. Her project focuses on the computer-assisted design of the stereoselectivity of enzymes in the precision synthesis of chiral compounds.
He Weng | PhD
He Weng is a PhD student in Dr Huang's group. Her project focuses on the rational design of metalloenzymes to realize the unnatural C-X (X=C or N) bond formation, based on mechanistic understanding obtained from computational results.

Yujie Shen got her bachelor's degree in chemistry from East China University of Science and Technology in 2020. She focuses on the simulation of the photocatalytic reaction on the perovskite surface.
Malka Urooj | PhD
Malka Urooj is a PhD student in Dr Huang's group. She did her Bachelor's in Chemistry from the University of Sargodha, Pakistan in 2014-2018. She did her Master's in Chemistry from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. Her research work was based on the Green synthesis of nanoparticles using plants such as Areva Javanica.

Yijun Lu joined Huang's group as a PhD. candidate in 2023. His previous research involved error propagation in modeling catalytic reactions with model-predicted binding energies (such as the prediction of machine learning models).

Bin Wei got his master's degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2022. His main research interests are enzymatic biotransformation and the mechanism of nanozymes.
