Students in our 2024 Summer School @QUB|CCE|EPS had a field trip to the farm today. They gained great insight into reducing the greenhouse gas footprint of farm animals and the production of biogas from bioreactors.

Despite their diverse background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Materials Engineering or Agriculture & Food, the desire to solve the global challenges has been ignited.

The trip was wrapped up with a handing about at Hillsborough Castle & Gardens on the way back. What a splendid day!
